Our mission is to improve custom parts and machines with creative engineering, additive manufacturing, and traditional manufacturing methods. Improving cost, quality, and lead times in a wide Varity of industry’s including but not limited to automotive, material handling, healthcare, laboratory, and consumer products.
ABOUT US.
The idea was sparked when two engineering students asked: “How can we make sustainability attainable for any company’s bottom line?” One specific product came to mind. This product sparked the creation of a new material, manufacturing process, and tooling. As we worked through the stages of launching our first branded product, we found the need for cost effective 3d printing in the industrial and consumer setting for prototyping, production, and custom work. Companies exist in this space, but charge high rates that turn most businesses and manufactures away. Our goal is to change that narrative.
With both of us having engineering experience in Michigan’s great automotive industry we understand the importance of lead times, creative problem solving, and cost savings. We are actively replacing costly machining and molding practices used for decades and saving our customers money as well as opening doors to new ways to solve problems.
We also found the same need from entrepreneurs, who in the starting stages of product development, often lack the experience or time to get the products, prototypes, and designs they need at a cost effective rate. These services are necessary in order to accelerate growth while also preserving precious start-up capital or annual budget. From consumer products, fixtures, industrial tooling, small-to-medium scale product production, prototypes, Futr Applications, LLC is looking to find the most effective and economically conscious solution to fit your needs.
